Statement of Faith

1) In the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God. (II Tim. 3:16-17, I Cor. 2:13) 

 2) In the One True God, in the Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4,Matt. 3:16-17, Matt. 28:19, John 1:1, Acts 5:3-4, Gal 3:20, 1 Jn. 5:8) 

 3) In the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis. Mans total spiritual depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness. (Romans 5:12,18) 

 4) In the Savior of men, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, very God and very man. (Matt. 1:23-25, Lk. 1:30-35, Jn. 1:18, Is. 9:6) 

 5) The Gospel of the grace of God, how that Christ died for our sin, was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. (I Co. 15:1-4, Ro. 4:25) 

 6) Salvation of sinners by grace alone, through faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Cross of Calvary, by which we secure the remission of sins. (Ep. 2:8-9, He. 12:9,22, Ro. 5:1) 

 7) In the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Ep. 1:19-23, Acts 1:8-11, Acts 2:24), and in the resurrection of all the dead - believers to eternal life (I Co. 15) and unbelievers to eternal damnation. (Re. 20:4-15) 

 8) In the imminent second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ac 1:11, Jn. 14, Re. 22:12) 

 9) Water baptism of believers by immersion. (Ac. 19:5, Ac. 10:47-48, Ac. 8:37-38) 

 10) In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to salvation and accompanied by the supernatural evidences outlined in the scripture. (Ac. 2:1-4, Ac. 8:14-17, Ac. 10:44-46, Gal. 3:14-15) 

 11) The gifts of the Holy Spirit being exercised and practiced as taught in the scripture and practiced in the early church. (1 Co. 12 & 14) 

 12) In the life and walk in the Spirit which makes us over comers and able to live the victorious Christian life. (Ro. 8, II Co. 6:14, II Co. 7:1, Gal. 5:16-18, Ep. 5:18) 

 13) In praying in Jesus Name for the sick to be healed, and those in bondage to be set free - the healing of the body by divine power or divine healing in its many aspects as taught in the Word of God and practiced in the early church. (Lk. 4:18, Jn. 14:12, Ac. 4:30, Ro. 8:11, I Co. 12:9, Ja. 5;14) 

 14) The lord’s Supper as a memorial for believers. (I Co. 11:23-32) 

 15) The eternal life of the believer, (Jn. 5:24, Jn. 10:28) and the eternal punishment of the unbeliever. (Mk.9:43,48, II Thess. 1:9, Rev. 20:10-15). 

 16) The reality and personality of Satan. (Job 1:7, II Co. 11:14) 17) The autonomy of the local church. (Matt. 18:17, Acts 15-22)
